Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Tracks candidates throughout the pre-employment process via the Applicant Tracking System
- Processes and coordinates background checks, safety council course, drug screens, and physical exams of candidates
- Provides timely, clear, and concise updates to recruiters, supervisors, and candidates.
- Inputs new hires and rehires into the Human Resource System (HRS).
- Recognizes strong principles of customer service to all potential employees, as well as our internal co-workers and support staff.
- Contributes to our HR team’s efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
- Completes any other duties that may be assigned to complete the job.
- Highly self-motivated, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task and meet deadlines are essential in this position.
- Very organized with effective time management skills.
- Positive and collaborative team player with excellent customer services skills (internal and external).
- Possess strong interpersonal skills to communicate with all levels of leadership, as well as external candidates.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (i.e. Outlook, Excel).
- Comfortable in a fast-paced work environment
- 18 years or older and legally able to work in the U.S.
- Stable work history with good references from past employers
- Pass a drug screen, and background check.
- PSC is a veteran-friendly company. Previous military experience and proven ability to follow procedures is a plus.
