Job Summary:  PSC Group has an exciting new growth opportunity located in our office in Pasadena, TX This is an ideal opportunity for an individual seeking an Accounts Payable Leadership role in a family-oriented company that is growing tremendously and backed by a private equity. The Accounts Payable Supervisor is responsible overseeing our Accounts Payable team of four and managing all activities related to processing invoices and payments.


Work Schedule: Monday thru Friday 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM (some flexibility with hours and two remote work days)

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the Accounts Payable team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Establish and enforce policies and procedures for accounts payable.
  • Provide guidance and support to the AP team on best practices, problem-solving, and workflow optimization.
  • Monitor and evaluate staff performance, providing feedback and implementing improvements.
  • Process timely and accurate payment of all vendor invoices and expense reports in accordance with payment terms.
  • Manage the AP aging report and prepare month-end closing activities, including accruals and reconciliations.
  • Administers company credit card program
  • Assists leadership will other tasks/projects, as needed

Job Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts payable or a related field, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Excellent leadership and team-building skills.
  • Experience with NetSuite is a plus
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Ability to prioritize projects and multitask
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional demeanor and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Highly self-motivated with the ability to work independently
