This position has upward mobility to grow within our company in the petrochemical industry. The ideal candidate must have experience in leading (supervising / managing) teams (industry experience is a plus). This individual must also be highly self-motivated and will build trust and open communication to continue our mission to be the best at what we do.
Work Schedule: M-F 7:00am – 3:30pm, but times could vary based on scheduled jobs. Must be able to work overtime if needed. Some evenings and weekends are required.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- The overall expectation for this position is to lead our railcar repair group by ensuring safe, efficient and productive operations in accordance with AAR, FRA and company guidelines.
- Reviews AAR Circular Letters, Maintenance Advisories and Early Warning Letters, if applicable have systems to communicate with all affected employees
- Train, support and enforce all employees to meet company and customer safety policies
- Conduct daily safety meetings and job briefings with mobile repair employees
- Assist in scheduling jobs based upon employee’s experience
- Facilitates customer, AAR and FRA compliance audits
- Provides information and advice to senior management on matters relating to safe and quality repair operation
- Participates in customer on site safety program
- Collaborates with field employees and customers throughout the workday to identify and implement improvements / efficiencies
- Seeks new business opportunities and works to expand these operations, as appropriate
- Identifies future leaders and creates individual employee development plans
- Performs annual performance evaluations with field employees
- Leads, monitors and trains on railcar repairs
- Completes any other duties that may be assigned to complete the job
Preferred Job Qualifications:
- Experience in a leadership role involving railcar repair operations, safety, and training
- Strong written, verbal and presentation communication skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to build trust
- Attentive and active listening skills
Minimum Job Qualifications:
- Knowledge and experience in non-destructive testing (NDT) or railcar repair
- Must be able to obtain and possess a valid driver's license and TWIC card
- 18 years or older and legally able to work in the U.S.
- Stable work history with good references from past employers
- Pass a drug screen, physical, and background check
- PSC is a veteran-friendly company. Previous military experience and proven ability to follow procedures is a plus.
