Work Schedule: 10-12 hour night shifts, rotating days off

Job Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Receives incoming shipments of plastic pellets from hopper railcars on the rail tracks to offload
  • Connects hoses to the hopper railcars to offload the plastic pellets and monitors silo levels
  • Sets up the automated packaging machine by hooking up attachments to containers
  • Obtains samples during the packaging process and examines for any contamination
  • Counts inventory of packaging materials on a weekly and monthly basis
  • Cleans and washes out silos on a periodic basis as needed
Job Qualifications:
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license
  • 18 years or older and legally able to work in the U.S.
  • Stable work history with good references from past employers
  • Pass a drug screen, physical, and background check
  • Speak fluent English
  • PSC is a veteran-friendly company. Previous military experience and proven ability to follow procedures is a plus.

Physical Requirements:
You must be able to:
  • Speak, write, read, hear, and have good vision
  • Work outside in environmental conditions which at times include extreme heat or extreme cold
  • Wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) without restriction and pass any medical examination associated with the use of PPE
  • Lift 60 pounds floor to waist
  • Push and pull 30 pounds horizontally
  • Carry 20 pounds while walking
  • Climb stairs and ladders
  • Stand 8-12 hours per day
  • Extend arms through normal range of motion while standing and squatting
