Logistics Support Specialist 
Pasadena, TX 

PSC Group is seeking a dedicated Logistics Support Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the smooth coordination of shipping, receiving, and inventory management processes. From maintaining accurate documentation and updating logistics systems to communicating with drivers and ensuring compliance with safety protocols, you will be at the heart of our operations. Work Schedule: Monday - Friday (7:00am - 3:30pm)
 
Pay Range: Starting at $20.00 an hour with opportunity for advancement 
 
Job Duties & Responsibilities: 

• Check in contractors/deliveries, issue and track visitor badges, ensure PPE compliance, and provide safety orientations. 

• Maintain emergency contact lists, support emergency traffic management and headcounts, and monitor and communicate lightning alerts. 

• Direct truck drivers, control parking traffic, operate truck scales, and assist with loading and unloading coordination. 

• Complete SAP shipping/receiving tasks, prepare shipping documents, manage bulk inventory checks, and compile international shipment paperwork. 

• File shipping and production documents, create labels for shipping containers, and assist with audit and customer service requests. 

• Maintain visitor PPE supplies, conduct inventory checks, and order necessary supplies, including office, breakroom, and safety items. 

• Restock breakroom supplies, manage fridge cleaning, and maintain a clean security office. 

• Perform random vehicle inspections and monitor accountability logs. 

• Distribute mail and notify recipients of deliveries. 

• Completes any other duties that may be assigned to complete the job. 

Job Qualifications: 

• Prior experience utilizing SAP or any computer programs is preferred, but not required 

• Prior experience working in a chemical plant, industrial or manufacturing work environment is a plus, but not required 

• Must be able to follow OSHA safety standards and be safety conscious at all times 

• Must possess a valid Driver's License 

• 18 years or older and legally able to work in the U.S. 

• Stable work history with good references from past employers 

• Pass a drug screen, physical, and background check 

• PSC is a veteran-friendly company. Previous military experience and proven ability to follow procedures is a plus.

Physical Requirements: 
You must be able to: 

• Speak, write, read fluent English. Hear and have good vision. 

• Regular on-site attendance and punctuality is required 

• Work outside in environmental conditions which at times include extreme heat or extreme cold 

• Wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) without restriction and pass any medical examination associated with the use of PPE 

• Lift 50 pounds floor to waist 

• Push and pull 50 pounds horizontally 

• Carry 20 pounds while walking 

• Climb stairs and ladders 

• Extend arms through normal range of motion while standing and squatting
