Petroleum Service Corporation is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our team at a chemical plant / manufacturing facility in Knoxville, TN. The Material Handler / Warehouse Operator is responsible for working safely and efficiently on an automated product packaging line to fill bags / boxes for outbound shipment. Work Schedule: 12-hour rotating shifts (rotates between days, nights, on call and off days)

Pay Range: $16.50 / hr. - $21.50 / hr.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Prepares all drums and totes to be filled with emulsion and polymer product.
  • Safely and efficiently operates packaging stations on the production line.
  • Monitors the packaging areas in the warehouse to ensure housekeeping requirements are met.
  • Prints and confirms packaging schedule for labeling of drums and totes.
  • Properly places all labels on filled bags/ boxes and conducts a quality control check.
  • Loads finished pallets onto trailers for outbound shipment by operating the forklift.
Job Qualifications:
  • Must be able to follow OSHA safety standards and be safety conscious at all times.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license.
  • 18 years or older and legally able to work in the U.S.
  • Stable work history with good references from past employers.
  • Pass a drug screen, physical, and background check.
  • PSC is a veteran-friendly company. Previous military experience and proven ability to follow procedures is a plus.

Physical Requirements:
You must be able to:
  • Speak, write, read, hear, and have good vision
  • Regular on-site attendance and punctuality is required
  • Work outside in environmental conditions which at times include extreme heat or extreme cold
  • Wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) without restriction and pass any medical examination associated with the use of PPE
  • Lift 60 pounds floor to waist
  • Push and pull 30 pounds horizontally
  • Carry 20 pounds while walking
  • Climb stairs and ladders
  • Stand 8-12 hours per day
  • Extend arms through normal range of motion while standing and squatting
